Typical lib bullshit. They can't take credit for one fucking good thing in Iraq, so they try to smear the folks who have been supportive of democracy in Iraq the whole time. Unreal.

Democracy in Iraq would never have happened without the invasion. The exile political groups were corrupt, the Shiite leaders had all been imprisoned or killed, and Saddam wasn't going anywhere by UN sanction alone.

Besides, regime change in Iraq was national policy, enacted under Clinton.

The Iraqi election went surprisingly well. I hope that the new temporary legislature enacts an equitable national Constitution.

That MSNBC idiot was right in quote only, no one "owns" the courage of the Iraqi voter. However, those voters needed the might of the U.S. military to remove the barriers to democracy so that they could vote. There is no other way this would have happened.

I hope Bush shows as much political will (and spits in the face of the doomsayers) in the next few years resolving Iran, Syria, and North Korea.
