I don't defend the Republicans, just some of their actions.
Anyway, this whole issue stinks on both sides. The GOP is making a big deal that the Dems are opposing religious nominees (and they are) but tag it as anti-religion when it's actually anti-conservative.
The Dems are being ham-handed with the way they treat nominees and are being labelled as obstructionist which is a hard label for them to escape, true or not.
So, Suze, why not try to see both sides of the issue for once? To me, the balance of lying, rotten, et al still tilts towards them Dems but I guess Bush and the GOP have 3 years to balance the scales.
