Johnny Hypocrite Rides Again
John Edwards is, by far, the most hypocritical, bald-faced lying major candidate in the 2008 race from either party:

Are you saying, then, John, that you have a good understanding of what's being done by everything in your portfolio? (Assuming, of course, that your 401k didn't go the way of mine...)
I agree. This is a total bogus article, but considering the source that is to be expected. The fact that Mr. Edwards has investments in a company or has even done some work for them (e.g., consulting), doesn't mean he has inside information as to the inner workings of the company. If he was an executive or even Board member for Fortress, then you might have some arguments, but this article is worthless trash.
No, the real hypocrite here is Rudy! His dropping the ball on providing firefighters with necessary equipment like working radios no doubt cost lifes. And his claim that he spent more time than most workers at ground zero, when the reality is that he was more often at Yankee stadium watching baseball games, says a lot of hypocrisy and the credibility of Mr. Guiliani.
OK, first off, this wasn't a minor part of a 401K portfolio. It was millions of dollars and he worked there for a while as well.
Secondly, the WSJ did not get it's sterling reputation by publishing "worthless trash". They published a factual article and don't editorialize at all whether or not Edwards knew what his money was doing.
Third, Edwards is an easy target for journalists to research stuff like this because he's so full of shit as far as what he says and what he does that it's pathetic.
As to Rudy - no opinion.
So if a paper as prestigious as the WSJ doesn't editorialize whether Edwards knew what his money was doing, why are you so bold as you make this conclusion and pronounce Johnny Hypocrite? Do you know something the WSJ doesn't. Personally, I don't care for Edwards, but he certainly is not a hypocrite.
I call him Johnny Hypocrite because the contradictions in what he says and does just keep piling up. The guy creeps me out, honestly.
Hey, you know, that's a pretty good reason to support him, come to think of it... *grins evilly*
Howard Dean creeped me out, too, and I was right (heh).
Let me remind you that Howard Dean implemented a 50-state policy that Rahm Emanuel and company fought against tooth and nail -- and were dead wrong to do so.
