Of course these idiots - and Guiliani led the charge - are hopping mad about something that ISN'T TRUE. But why should they care about truth when it doesn't serve their purpose?

I agree Susie. It is fun to watch Republicans knocking freedom of speech now (such hypocrisy). Of course, they didn't say anything about the Swift Boat attacks on Kerry (another honored war veteran), or Murtha who has been viciously slandered by the Right.
On Friday, Rudy prints a shameless response ad accusing Hillary of supporting the MoveOn one. The reality is that Hillary never said a single word about the Moveon ad, but for some reason Rudy likens "no response" to meaning being one of support. What a fuckin' sleazebag he is!
IBD has become nothing more than a business tabloid rag. Let's hope that Murdock doesn't make the WSJ into one.

I find the whole thing amusing.
I'm not happy with the Left demonizing Petreus, though. I think it was very childish of MoveOn to place that ad.
I watched Robert Wexler, one of the whiniest members of Congress, play politics with Petreus during his report to Congress. A great video moment would have been if the General had pulled his sidearm out and shot that simpering idiot.
I don't care if the district stays Demo but, please, please Democrats put someone else in there.

If you're trying to be funny, you are failing miserably. The simpering idiots are people who still think Bush is doing a great job and who think we can do anything to make things right in Iraq.
Wait a second. You Democrats and lefties figured out what Petreus was going to say and then commenced a vicious smear campaign to discredit him and his report to minimize the damage to your shaky suppositions.
You cover your ears when someone says something you don't want to hear and asshole Wexler uses a report of critical importance to the country to grandstand and make no factual clarifications whatsoever.
