Frist says "no deals"

According to ABC, Frist isn't interested in anything less than a complete victory.

Reacting to a Democratic offer in the fight over filibusters, Republican leader Bill Frist said Tuesday he isn't interested in any deal that fails to ensure Senate confirmation for all of President Bush's judicial nominees.

Hasn't he been in Washington long enough to know how the game is played?

Bill Frist is not a liar and I challenge you to find any other Senator with as impeccable humanitarian credentials.

Frist also saved a man who had a stroke in the Capitol. He treated the victims of the Capitol shooting a few years back. He goes to Africa every year to do free clinic work. Go to senate.gov and look at his curriculum vitae. It's pretty impressive.

The rest is just politics....

As to the filibuster, do I really need to post quotes from Dems in 2000 and before saying how un-American filibustering nominees was and how they'd never do it?
