It's not a question what I believe and don't - it's kinda sad that you post "your loss" as if you were absolutely sure that the facts were in evidence. Shows that you don't think for yourself.
I've heard that prisoners themselves stuffed pages from the Koran into toilets to cause plumbing problems. I don't know if that's true.
As to U.S. interrogators doing the same? I would imagine they'd have to get some sort of clearance since this is against official policy.
For the sake of argument let's say it's true. Big fucking deal, it's not torture and Ivens is way over the top in her assessment.
