That's not exactly what Rudy said. In fact, if you read the speech and interview at politco.com and see it in context, I think he makes some compelling observations. Such as:
“They were at war with us before we realized it, going back to ’90s with all the Americans killed by the PLO and Hezbollah and Hamas,” he said. “They came here and killed us in 1993 [with the first attack on New York’s World Trade Center, in which six people died], and we didn’t get it. We didn’t get it that this was a war. Then Sept. 11, 2001, happened, and we got it.”
In fact, I think the whole article should be linked here before more disinformation about what he said is thrown around.

Olbermann was predictably over-the-top.
If he says "How dare you, sir!" in one more broadcast, I will personally fly to NY and punch that snarky, slimy SOB in the mouth.
How dare he blame Bush and Giuliani for 9/11? They inherited structural weaknesses in the system. They didn't neuter the US in a few short months, did they?
He's a goddamn fool. His ratings show it.
Actually, yes, they did.
If I thought you would actually follow up on that threat, I'd take time off from work and sell tickets. But you'd rather resort to violence than debate the issues, wouldn't you?
I'd rather debate the issues but when you have a sideshow clown like Olbermann, who's job depends on you folks believing his hysteria, being your main spokeman then the issues are lost to showmanship.
Olbermann is a 2-time ratings loser who now thinks he can maintain the bucks taking controversial stances from a leftist standpoint. Kinda like Maher. I'm trying to think of a right wing example of this but I can't off hand.
He doesn't fool me, it's sad he fools you.
