Oh, yeah, industry is expected. But the dichotomy is that the Dems have been screaming at lobbyists and look where the lobbyist money goes. C'mon Garrety, try some honesty.
That's contributions by industry, a point you had already made. Which I agreed with. It is not contributions by lobbyists which have their own spreadsheet.
OK, o dense one: Your specific LINK is to industry contributions NOT lobbyist contributions. If you would *read* what I wrote and looked AGAIN at your links you would see what I was talking about. Lobbyist contributions are a separate page. READ.

Honesty? Ok, try this page.
Lobbyist money to Democrats from the Top 50 Industries: $251,225,360.39
Lobbyist money to Republicans from the Top 50 Industries: $323,527,241.70
Let me know if you'd like me to email you the spreadsheet so you don't have to copy and paste it yourself...
(Drat, copy-and-paste errors really suck...)
Yes, honesty.

One thing that does stand out...wow, did Rick Santorum get a lot of money and he got his ass kicked in the last election.
Hey, I gave specific links twice, you just waved your hand and said "oh, it's in there somewhere".

*scratches head*
Um, this link pretty much agrees with me, too. So which one are you looking at?

Granted, the labor unions tip things into the Democratic column, but everything else is heavily Republican.
